Why do nice guys always finish last?
So I went down to sixth street with Anna and her friends Felice and Adam. It was fun we had a good time. I got to relive some of my days in the Corps, trying to descretly keep an eye on my female friend while still letting her prowl for a guy. It was fun, but if Anna and I are gonna keep this up we need to work on her signalling.
Anyway at the end of the night, during the cab ride back to Anna's place she and I were talking. And her opinion that I am a really sweet and/or nice guy came up. And her comments basically boiled down to "If you were more of a jerk you would get more girls" (I'm paraphrasing here). So yeah I'm 24 years old and I still don't get this about women... they all want to marry a nice guy so why the hell don't they want to date a nice guy?

eh, as long as I know where you are, I can find you if I need you. I don't need to "signal" you to come to my rescue or anything.
And nice guys always finish last for a lot of reasons. And you'd get more girls, but not necessarily quality girls.
The same holds true for women looking for quality guys - I'm not up to my usual quality when out drunk, so I don't expect to meet my future husband. I am just glad to go out and have a good time.
